Whether you are pre diabetic, T2, T1 or have gestational diabetes, this lower carb focused lifestyle coaching might just be for you. Perhaps you are suffering from insulin resistance and t1 diabetes… and have double diabetes as I had only a few years ago.

Having followed a low carb lifestyle now for over 10 years, I have experienced so many positive benefits. From regulating my menstrual cycle, gaining tighter control of my diabetes, a non diabetic HBA1C, reversing background retinopathy and having two little girls. As a t1 diabetic I know how hard blood sugars can be to manage. Everything affects our control from the weather and hot showers, what we consume, to hormone patterns and whether we are stressed. It is a fine balance.

I know first hand how isolating diabetes can be, emotionally and physically. Food plays such a huge role in our lives and should be there to be enjoyed whether you have diabetes or not. Let me help you find your passion for food again, inspire you and help you negotiate a lower carb lifestyle.

Food plays a huge role in the management of blood sugar control (alongside insulin, if T1 diabetic). For many, making a reduction to the amount of starchy carbs consumed can make a huge difference. While at the same time, ensuring you are getting proteins, healthy fats, fibre and above all else, enjoying food. It is my job to make sure a lower carb lifestyle isn’t viewed as restrictive. Sometimes by just making a couple of small ingredient changes to your favourite meal, you can experience greater control to your blood sugars. For many people I have helped, a lower carb lifestyle has benefited them in many ways. To name a few:
