LOW CARB CHRISTMAS – 6 December

A Christmas cooking class focused on low-carb cookery based in the Cotswolds in Cheltenham. A wonderful morning of cooking, learning and lots of laughter followed by a delicious lunch.

Location: Prestbury, Cheltenham. A 15 minute walk from the town centre at the foot of Cleeve Hill.

Conveniently located just off the M5 Cheltenham is the perfect place to spend a weekend. An opportunity to explore the surrounding areas close by of Winchcombe, Broadway, Painswick, Cirencester and Bourton on the water.

Emma Porter bio:

A recipe developer, published author of Life Without Diabetes, The Cookbook and The Low Carb Diabetes Cookbook, creator of The Low Carb Kitchen. Emma Porter is a mum of 2, living in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Emma has worked with some of the world’s leading Professor’s, endocrinologists and doctors. Her works have been published in BBC Good Food, The Times, The Telegraph, The Sun, The Mirror, Women’s Health Magazine and most recently Top Sante. Emma is an Ambassador for Combe Grove Wellness Retreat, Prime Fitness and Wellness with Charlie Baab and Robert Andrew Bakery. She is a regular health and wellness contributor to BBC Radio Gloucester.

Diagnosed with T1 diabetes at the age of 17, Emma has spent the last 11 years creating and developing lower carb recipes to help those living with diabetes and their families. Emma wears an insulin pump and CGM.

A published author and Leith’s trained, Emma is often found demonstrating her recipes at Combe Grove’s metabolic wellness retreats, cooking at private events and coaching those living with diabetes / pre diabetes and type one diabetes on small dietary changes to better manage their blood sugars.
